How does this site work?

This site serves as a catalogue to provide customers with quick access to product listings and pricing. Items can reserved for local pick up or purchased online! If you are using mobile, the menu dropdown and search bar will be on the top left corner.

 

What are the conditions of the videogames?

Videogames will vary from brand new to open box/used, prices will reflect the condition and rarity. Used items (preowned) may show signs of use like surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and other imperfections with case/cover but are otherwise guaranteed to work. Please note all DLC content cannot be guaranteed as they may be expired, claimed or no longer valid (except for recent new sealed releases). Used/opened games are likely to have some degree of cosmetic wear. Please msg if you require more pictures or have any specific requirements.

New: Brand new factory sealed never opened.

Used - CIB: Preowned or open box item that will include the cover art, inserts, and any other items originally included when purchased new; aka "Complete in box". Please note some games originally never came with manuals or any other inserts but we would still classify as "CIB".

Used - no inserts: Cover art and box included but no inserts. Please note some games originally never came with manuals or any other inserts. Some games may have instructions printed directly on the cover art or include an insert for digital manuals instead.

Used - missing cover art: Box and inserts are included. Please note some games originally never came with manuals or any other inserts. Some games may have instructions printed directly on the cover art or include an insert for digital manuals instead.

Used - game only: A game stated as "Disc or Cartridge Only" is missing both the inserts AND cover.

Disc rating:

NEAR MINT - disc(s) are like new, very clean
EXCELLENT - a few light/minor scratches on disc(s), minimal use
NORMAL - disc(s) will have some scratches from normal use
OK - lots of scratches but otherwise still in working condition, heavy use

Our online product lists are constantly updated. Please feel free to contact us directly for specific titles you are looking for. We carry one of the largest selection of unique gaming titles and merchandise in Canada so chances are we just might have the item you are looking for!

It may also be easier to search by a single keyword on the website, which will return more relevant results.

 

What is the method of payment?

We accept E-transfer, and most credit cards for online orders.

 

Do you offer shipping or local pick up?

Yes! We offer many Canada-wide shipping options for video game items. Please orders online and follow the instructions. We can also take orders directly at 416-562-4948 or through email vtrgaming@hotmail.com at any time!

Do you take trade-ins?

Yes we do! Competitive values will be offered on your old used video games and credit can be applied towards anything in store!

Games are subject to approval and must be in working condition. We can accept any game from any platform!

 

Are pictures I see of the item on the website what I will actually get?

Although we use real photos for certain items online to provide an accurate representation, ALL item pictures (real or stock) are for REFERENCE ONLY. Since we may have multiple copies of one item or as inventory comes and goes, photos will become obsolete over time. If you would like to see any item in person or for up to date photos of items please feel free to contact us.

In many circumstances, different versions of the same videogame will be released over time (and with different cover arts). For example, greatest hits, game of the year, Nintendo select, special editions with DLC etc. For the sake of simplicity, we treat all instances of a game the same regardless of cover art/packaging unless there are significant differences in content and value. For online orders, we will ship out whatever version of cover art that is available at the time.

New and used games with intrinsic difference in values will be listed as separate items on the site and priced differently. If you have any specific requirements please feel free to contact us.

 

Do you do price match?

Of course! We will always strive to bring you good quality merchandise at amazing prices! Although we try our best to price our items competitive to market, we understand that prices might fluctuate every once in awhile. Please feel free to contact us if you find a lower price for the same item at another business place and we will gladly match the price and offer you an additional 10% credit!

*Price matching is subject to approval and must be for exact same item and similar/comparable condition. 

*Price matching is based on the total cost to obtain the item in question, which may involve shipping costs, process fees, duties, taxes, etc.

*Due to its short term nature, we will only be able to price match sale items or promotions from other businesses on a case by case basis.
